Here’s how to start adding articles to your knowledge base:
Log in to your AskNChat account.
Then, select the Knowledge Base.
From this point, you’ll be able to view all the knowledge base articles you've created. It might seem empty right now, but don't worry – you'll quickly fill it with valuable content. To begin, simply click the "Add Article" button located in the top-right corner.
When you click the "Add Article" button located in the top-right corner, you’ll be able to view Create New Article.
For now, we'll focus on the Article settings :
- Article Title
Every article needs a title and you won't be able to save a draft without one.
Titles are super important around the internet and not just because they let readers know what to expect from your articles. Titles also play a big role in search engine optimization, governing how close to the top of the results pages your site will appear when someone looks for it on Google and other search engines.
- Content
For AsknChat, organizing content with :
-customize headings using text options.
-Use text settings to choose fonts, colors, and sizes to fit your needs.
-add images and tables to illustrate the content.

It's also beneficial for SEO, as it helps search engines understand the structure of the content. Use smaller heading sizes and higher numbers for subsections, ensuring H1 is reserved for the main title of the article.

adding images enhances readability and supports your text. Choose a consistent layout—left, centered, or right—and stick with it across all pages. This keeps the visual flow uniform and helps readers know what to expect, improving their experience.
table
allows you to set the number of rows and columns in the block settings. For added impact, adjust the text and background colors to make the table stand out.
- Status
Visible
articles are accessible to anyone ideal for FAQs, and guides. These articles are indexed by Google.
Hidden
articles, are only visible to your team within the app, making them perfect for internal policies and procedures.
Draft
articles are in-progress pieces that are not yet published. They are visible only to your team and can be edited until ready for public or private publication.
Save Article
once you're satisfied with your content and layout, click the Save Article button to save your changes and make the article live for everyone to view.
